"Shakthi Corporation" is a non-profit organization that aims to empower and support South Asian immigrant women in the U.S. primarily serving the Greater Charlotte area.

Shakthi is women empowering women! The organization to help, mentor, support, forge new opportunities, better quality of life for south Asian immigrant women. It provides a wide range of services to support and empower immigrant women in the Charlotte area, FREE of charge. One of the key services offered by Shakthi Corporation is the confidential support line, which connects immigrant women with mentors who have walked a similar path, providing guidance and support on various topics. Shakthi focuses on organizing various awareness workshops and initiatives to educate the local immigrant population on the process and resources available in this country. A notable mention is the meet up for immigrant families with Charlotte Mecklenburg Police, Child Protection Services , along with Mecklenburg county attorney to address the concerns.
